The Space in between us

THE SPACE IN BETWEEN US
“All I really wanna do is to fall into the emptiness, that is the space in between us, Erase it and bring us together again”. Those words spaned the airwaves in 2004, from the lyrics sang by the Christian Rock Band “ Building 429. The track “The Space in between us” is one of my favourite tracks from the album.                                                                                                                                                                     The lyrics of the song focusses on the gap that man causes to come between him and God.
God loves man so much that He sent His Son , Jesus Christ to come to this world and die for mankind, in one of the most horrific deaths in the history of humanity( death by crucifixion) .        
The Roman Empire executes criminals using this form of execution by nailing the criminal on a cross made from wood. Jesus was not a criminal but was given the death penalty masterminded by the Jews and Religious Leaders of his day. Jesus Christ was a sacrifice to redeem humanity back to God. He is called the”Lamb of God” that takes away the sin of the world by John the Baptist (Jesus’ own cousin). Religion is man’s attempt to get back to God , but God went a step ahead more than 2000 years ago.
God became man, lived on this earth for thirty three years , as a carpenter turned to Preacher, Evangelist, Healer by the Power of the Holy Spirit. And was crucified on the Cross  of Calvary.
God the Father accepted Jesus’ sacrifice and by the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was raised from the dead after being buried in a tomb for three days. He is Alive and at the Right Hand Side of God the Father,
God loves you so much. He knows everything about you, He longs for you to know Him, to fellowship with Him and to talk to Him.
Why not accept Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Personal saviour today, don’t wait another minute.
When you believe in your heart that Jesus truly came to earth and lived a sinless life, was crucified on the cross of Calvary for you and you accept that His death was for you to redeem or rescue you from a life of sin. When you acknowledge that God raised Jesus from the dead by confessing it with your mouth and asking Jesus to come into your heart, you become Born again. God becomes your Father literally. Don’t wait another moment, take this step. Ask God to lead you to a Bible believing church and get a Bible to read, just to get to know God and develop your new relationship with Him.
God Bless you and remember Jesus is the reason for this season.
